Neerwaya’s mission is to provide support for self-help initiatives in communities in the Koulpelogo province of Burkina Faso. In particular, it works to strengthen local community organizations, training them in sustainable agriculture and raising their awareness of health issues.
 Donation from Bel's Foundation
The Foundation wanted to support the creation of a community garden to improve the nutritional composition of children’s meals and to fight against dietary deficiencies.
The non-profit association is undertaking the construction of six school gardens in the departments of Soudougui and Yargatenga, in the province of Koulpelogo. These community gardens will enable children and families to enjoy a more balanced diet, including fruits and vegetables. 1,526 mothers of young children and 1,101 school children will benefit from this program.
The Bel Foundation intends to contribute €9,900 to this project.
