In parallel of the Bel Group’s action (product donations, employee's engagement) and in line with Bel Foundation’s mission, the board of the Foundation decided to bring an exceptional financial support to protect children and vulnerable families in Ukraine and neighboring countries.
The situation unfolding in Ukraine and the resulting humanitarian crisis that reaches beyond Ukraine’s borders is deeply upsetting. In this current crisis context, more than 7.5 million children need humanitarian aid. Today, 1 in 2 refugees is a child.
Most of the Foundation NGOs Partners already took actions and focused their activities to meet the urgent and basic needs of people.
In parallel with the Bel Group’s action (product donations, employee involvement) and in line with the Bel Foundation’s mission, the Foundation’s Board of Directors has decided to provide exceptional financial support to SOS Villages d’Enfants in order to facilitate the NGO’s action in accompanying, welcoming and sheltering 35,000 vulnerable children and families (2022 July) in Ukraine, neighbouring countries and Western Europe, including France.

Also, at the request of the association La Voix de l’Enfant, the current partnership with the Foundation has been partly reoriented to guarantee the protection of Ukrainian children in Romania and France.
The Bel Foundation remains attentive to the needs of NGOs and local charities, in order to provide a concrete response to the needs. Currently, the Foundation is in contact with Bel’s very committed teams in Poland, Slovakia and the Czech Republic, to study the needs of the refugee children and to see how best to meet them.
