Rounding on salary
Every month, Bel employees have the choice of making a donation to an association, by rounding up their salary by a few cents, directly from the Microdon platform.
The Bel group is supporting this initiative by doubling the amount of the rounding. Bel employees also have the option of adding a fixed amount to this rounding.
Since the programme was launched in 2016, almost €40,000 has been raised thanks to donations from Bel employees (2023 figures).
Each Bel employee can choose which of the 3 charities selected by the Bel group and its Foundation will receive his or her donation:
- ANDES
- Les Enfants de la méditerranée
- Fédération nationale des banques alimentaires, for Ukrainian refugees

ANDES
Founded in 2000, ANDES (Association Nationale de Développement des Épiceries Solidaire) is one of France’s leading food aid networks. Today, the association federates more than 500 solidarity grocery shops, offering participatory food aid and social support to thousands of grocery shop beneficiaries. Through its activities, ANDES provides a response upstream of emergency food aid and contributes to the social and professional integration of beneficiaries.
The supported project
All donations will be used to open two new social and solidarity grocery shops in France.
Did you know ?
The Bel Foundation has already supported ANDES by financing 5 new solidarity grocery shops and educational visits for the children of beneficiary families in 2021. The Bel Foundation has also supported ANDES as part of Days for Good 2022, Bel’s week of solidarity.

Les Enfants de la Mediterannée
Les Enfants de la Méditerranée (LEM) is a non-profit, general-interest Mediterranean solidarity association that works to develop and protect children through culture and education.
The supported project
All donations will be used to renovate the canteen and refectory of a boarding school in Lebanon, so that 3 meals can be served every day.
Did you know ?
The Bel Foundation has already supported Les Enfants de la Méditerranée by renovating the canteen of a school support centre in Beirut in 2020.

Fédération nationale des banques alimentaires
Created in 1984, the Fédération nationale des banques alimentaires is the leading food aid network in France. The Food Banks combat food insecurity, in particular by fighting food waste. The network collects products, sorts them and then stores them for redistribution.
The supported project
All donations are used to mobilise the network of French Food Banks:
- In France, the Food Banks are being called upon to supply foodstuffs to the reception and accommodation facilities for Ukrainian refugees. They are also being called upon to deal with the increase in food insecurity following the rise in energy and food prices as a result of the war in Ukraine.
- In Europe, the network organises the dispatch of food aid from France to Food Banks in countries bordering Ukraine, which then distribute it to Ukrainian refugees.
